March 26, 2015, 8:34 am A fake IRS agent calling to threaten me with extortion if I don't pay them back taxes they say I owe. I have never gotten anything in writing so that should be the first sign that this is a scammer at work. The second red flag should be the unusually thick Indian accent. April 30, 2015, 1:51 am A fake IRS agent calling to tell me that I am going to be investigated and charged with tax evasion if i don't comply with their demands for immediate payment. I've looked this up and verified that it's a scam. The IRS has posted webpages about this being a scam that people need to ignore. May 9, 2015, 8:44 am 5/18.Voice mail on my cell which I was not carrying at the time.. Male caller w/ foreign, Asian accent, said: "Not to ignore this call, return the call or have attorney do so, re a legal matter against me." Sounded like total BS.
