All of these "scams" and fraudulent claims to this number may not realize that the phone number isn't necessarily tied to any one company or caller. October 31, 2015, 10:03 pm This is a windows a tech support scam. You probably already heard about this scam on tv or the radio. They are Indian, which is obvious by listening to their accents. They fake a virus infection and the real point of this is to build trust with you by pretending you got helped by them so you will purchase a technical support warranty from them for years. This will cost hundreds of dollars. All fake. Their is no problem with your computer. The FTC has forced millions of dollars in refunds from this type of caller.
