April 26, 2015, 12:01 am I got a fake Verizon survey that offer a free gift card for my verizon services if I answered some questions. They also wanted to verify my full name and address for the gift card. I gave them all fake information and then hung up. I've heard enough about these calls to know it's most likely a scam. i don't think companies make calls like this, especially since they already have your name and address on file if you use their services. May 6, 2015, 9:59 am The caller claimed to be from "Survey Staff" and told me that if participated in their survey I would eligable for a $100 gift card. After answering they transferred to me another person to verify my name and address so they could send the gift card and a free magazine subscription to my home. January 6, 2016, 9:03 pm I love when they ask for a CC# - I make one up and write it down. When it comes up invalid, I read it back very slowly, changing a '3' to an '8' (my eyes aren't what they used to be...). Repeat as long as possible until they start to get frustrated. June 28, 2016, 7:41 pm Phone rang twice, then they hung up - I'm filing a complaint with DONOTCALL.gov for every call I receive (other numbers too). They will get fined a ton if everyone who is on the do not cal list files a complaint - it is pretty easy to do. Caller Company: Unknown
