April 30, 2014, 12:51 pm Keep receiving calls for some complaint/legal action/IRS Debt collection etc. They leave messages, When called back they do not reveal the complaint and keep transferring the call and emphasize that you talk to our supervisor but do not tell the complaint.They threaten that the Law enforcement will be on your doorstep soon as the warrant has been issued. October 13, 2014, 12:22 pm Fake government office claiming to have a warrant for your arrest if you don't send them money for back taxes or fines. Heavily accented people. Sounded too young to be a serious government agent. This scam has been discussed by the federal government as a fraud so the gov has no involvement with any of this nonsense. The real gov will send you something in a writing long before they will send someone to arrest you, the don't just show up to take you away. It' s a scammer and the gov has been open with statement about the illegality of these calls and their attempts to swindle people. Often they have Indian accents with white american sounding names and the purpose of these calls is to scare you with extortionist threats. Organized con artist.
