I don't think this is just one company trying to switch you to another company. I think it's a company with a number of different companies competing against each other at once. They want to interest me in seeing if I can save money by comparing my current hydro usage and rates to other companies. I am happy with my current supplier and see no need for this change. February 14, 2016, 8:43 pm This is a power company switching sales call. They may want to see your bill and discuss charges and fees off of it so you can decide if switching is a good idea. Often these calls are designed to lock people into new contracts before prices are about to fall so they keep people paying higher rates in contracts. It's bad enough we have to deal with thousands of E-mails soliciting products we'd never have a use for , now We have to vet incoming calls disguised as local area numbers and text messages as well. I answered could not understand because of background noise. Hung up on them, they called right back. They won't tell me what's in it, but they want my insurance information, my social security number, my doctor's name. I keep asking them to take my name off of their list but they keep calling!
